Christine Ardern is a records and information
management consultant, based in Toronto. In her
capacity as a consultant, she has worked with
Canadian and International organizations in both the
private and public sectors to help them develop and
implement records and information management
programs and supporting technologies. Prior to
becoming a consultant, Christine was the Manager of
Archives and Records Management at CIBC (during
which time she met with the officers in Jamaica and
Barbados regarding different RM initiatives), The
Art Gallery of Ontario and The Salvation Army.
Christine is a certified records manager, a past
president and Fellow of ARMA International, a winner
of the prestigious Emmett Leahy award. As
International Director of ARMA International,
Christine chartered the ARMA Jamaica chapter and has
lectured in both Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago on
records management topics. Christine teaches in the
Professional Learning Centre at the University of
Toronto and is a regular speaker at local and
international ARMA seminars and workshops.
