Mr. Gourdon is a Global Business Development
Executive in IBM/ISS Security Governance Services
with responsibility for developing IBM’s GRC
Services strategy and managing a portfolio of
business partners that provide risk management
tools. He has over twenty-eight years of experience
in business strategy and information technology (IT)
strategy, focused on international financial
services. Prior to his current role, he worked with
the Risk and Compliance solutions team and was a
Principal in IBM’s Strategy and Change Consulting
practice, where he worked with a number of global
banking and financial markets firms on initiatives
encompassing their domestic and international
operations.
Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Gourdon was a manager with
KPMG Nolan, Norton & Co., an IT strategy consulting
subsidiary of BearingPoint (formerly KPMG
Consulting). His clients included major
international banks and insurance companies. Mr.
Gourdon's earlier corporate experience includes
management positions in information systems and
operations at Société Générale and JPMorgan Chase.
Mr. Gourdon received an MBA in
Management/International Business from New York
University's Stern School of Business and a BA in
Economics from Princeton University. His MBA program
included studies at the Ecole Des Hautes Etudes
Commerciales in France, and the London Business
School in England.
