Robert Mathavious

The name Robert Mathavious has been synonymous with financial services since 1984. Mathavious is a popular speaker/presenter at international and regional financial services workshops, particularly on regulatory and compliance issues, strategies for dealing with the international initiatives targeting offshore financial centres and anti-money laundering issues. His articles have appeared in numerous industry trade journals and magazines.

He is currently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the BVI Financial Services Commission where he has prime responsibility for establishing and maintaining a regulatory regime that is fully compliant with universally agreed international standards.
