Dr. Clarke began his professional journey in the insurance industry, serving as an Assistant District Manager at Family Guardian Insurance. His outstanding performance in pipeline development and sales earned him a place in The Presidents Club, a prestigious group recognizing top performers in the insurance field.

After a distinguished career in the insurance sector, Dr. Ricardo Clarke embarked on a new path, leveraging his extensive experience and skills in people management, sales, and service. Recognizing the crucial role that effective leadership plays in organizational success, he founded a professional development practice which is dedicated to empowering leaders and fostering thriving work environments.

Dr. Clarke is a highly sought-after human resource development consultant with expertise in transformational leadership, the intra- and interpersonal skills required for Emotional Intelligence and soft skills enhancement. His services have been utilized by numerous organizations, including the Public Hospital Authority, Bahamas Air, Ministry of Education, IElite Sports Academy, The Caribbean Regional Compliance Association, The Bahamas Association of Compliance Officers and The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services.

In addition to his facilitation of training programmes, Dr. Clarke was selected as a Life Coach for the National Training Agency and The Ministry of National Security’s Citizens Security and Justice Program, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank.

Dr. Clarke holds a Master’s degree in Leadership & Organizational Management and completed his Doctorate in Christian Education in 2020. He is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) accredited by the Certified Life Coach Institute (ICF Accredited). Dr. Clarke also holds a certificate from The University of Michigan in Emotional Intelligence.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Clarke’s love for music led to an accidental yet remarkable music career. His music has transcended borders, reaching over forty countries. He has traveled to seven of these countries, including the USA, Canada, England, and France, to minister through spoken word and song.

Since 2012, Dr. Clarke has been the inspiring voice of the morning show on JOYFM, captivating the nation with its uplifting and motivational messages. In 2016, he founded the “OCCUPY” Mentorship Program, which has been formally recognized as a Non-Profit Organization in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. The program focuses on youth character and career development and has enrolled over 300 participants.
